You have a choice of two solid hardwoods and a variety of finishes.  Woods have different properties and a brief description below may help you make a choice.

· Oak is by far the most popular choice.  It has a pronounced grain and accepts stains very well.

· Cherry has a fine texture and is the choice for premium furniture.
